Psychopomp and Healing Services

What is a psychopomp? The word derives from the Greek 'psukhopompos,' from 'psukhe' meaning 'soul' and 'pompos' meaning 'conductor.' A psychopomp is a guide who works as a companion, escort and/or witness through liminal, transition or crossroad places. The role a psychopomp plays, or how they conduct their work is varied, but in general terms they assist the dying or spirits to cross over, tenderly hold space for the tending and healing of spirit wounds (for the living and those beyond the veil) as well as aiding the living through various transitions in life via ritual, prayer and other methods.

What I do: I have diligently worked as a psychopomp and healer for the last 25 years and view my work as a sacred duty, a gift,  an honor and a responsibility that I carry out every day. It is important to me in my work that I offer respectful spaces that are safe and open doorways to self empowerment, strength, wisdom, understanding, magic, movement, kindness and peace.
